Shop the February Sale!
We're all officially on the upward swing to spring break and the end of the year - but that also means the pace isn't about to slow down anytime soon. I've always found that the weeks leading up to any break can be the fastest (yet somehow feel the slowest), but also the most crammed full of events and to-dos like performances, report cards, the endless report card comments, and not to mention wrangling all those kiddos who are eager for their break.
To make it all easier, Teachers Pay Teachers is having a major February sale and my store is participating! You'll find every single thing in my store 20% off...but for only 2 days only!
Take a peek at what you can find for major savings:
Eureka Math resources for 1st & 2nd grade
Shop Eureka Math
Eureka Math is one of the leading math curriculums heading into classrooms around the country. Although it's great in many ways, I personally found the material to be a lot to chew through for my students when I taught second grade. Although I'm no longer teaching second, I'm still committed to releasing each module for grade 2. You can already pick up modules 1-6 over in my shop with module 7 and 8 due in the coming months!
*NEW* Winter themed resources!
Winter is one of my favorite themes teaching kindergarten and I have a few new resources that have just been added in January! Check out how I'm using The Mitten to review and teach key reading skills and how our class wrote a flip-book style How to Build a Snowman!
Guided Reading resources for days!
Guided Reading has been such a game changer for me as a teacher - and furthermore, Jan Richardson wrote the Bible on how to approach guided reading successfully! I've been so inspired by what she shares in a variety of her teaching manuals and thus I've created a ton of companion resources to accompany any guided reading curriculum.
I remember teaching both kindergarten and second grade years and years ago and realized that parent communication could be both easier and more effective somehow. I hated that the conversations I was having with the student weren't being relayed at home - leaving parents either not knowing about what happened or the child "forgetting" when a parent does ask.
No more!
These Think Sheets for K-6th are differentiated by grade and ability. It's an easy way to track student behaviors and gives the child the tool to discuss their behavior at home. I send these forms home to be signed by a parent so that I can guarantee that it was addressed and they are saved in that child's folder at school. They become really helpful, too, when sitting in conferences or establishing behavior plans.
There is so much more to share, but instead of hearing it from me...go ahead and check out the shop to see all of the different resources I have that are on sale February 4th-5th ONLY!
Happy shopping!
Behavior Management tools, too!
Behaviors are always a factor each teacher has to deal with no matter if it's in the first few weeks of school, returning from breaks, or winding down to the end of the year. Regardless of the grades I've taught over the years, these resources have been tried and true.
Opt for the bundle where you'll get my Think Sheets, Clip Slips, Awesome Behavior Notes, and a complete unit for establishing the classroom rules at the beginning of the year.
